the visionary

a virgo and multi-media artist, kayleigh, has an equal love for both photography and painting, drawing inspiration from a life split between the deep south and the west coast. duality is a recurring theme in all of her work, regardless of medium, and she believes being an artist is a way of life.

while her current photographic body of work focuses externally on the relationship between subject, viewer, and artist, her paintings come from an internal place, typically exploring color, texture, and shape as a means to convey movement and emotions. along the way, she created a line of jewelry named the "VNDL collection" and sees these wearable pieces as 3-dimensional extensions of her paintings and illustrations.

some artists that have influenced her heavily include francesca woodman, henri cartier-bresson, kehinde wiley, max ernst, shepard fairey, jr, and frida kahlo.

art forever.
